WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including the Foreign Exchange (FE) Manual and AML/CFT/CPF regulations issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.
- Assist in responding to regulatory queries and preparing ad hoc and periodic reports for submission to the State Bank of Pakistan.
- Support audit processes by coordinating with internal teams and assisting in the closure of audit observations.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework governing banks and financial institutions, including SBP regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and prudential regulations.
- Sound understanding of the Foreign Exchange Manual and related regulatory reporting requirements.
- Hands-on experience in managing SBP correspondence, responding to regulatory queries, and coordinating onsite/offsite inspections.
- Practical exposure to compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and implementation of internal controls and policies.
- Ability to interpret regulatory circulars, assess their impact, and support implementation across the organization.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and regulatory deadlines.
