WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Analyze requirements to design, develop, and configure secure, scalable API solutions (REST/SOAP) for financial transactions and data exchanges.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data, ensuring all integrations strictly comply with industry standards like PCI-DSS and GDPR.
- Conduct thorough integration testing to protect data integrity, troubleshoot system-related issues, and implement quick fixes for smooth fintech operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, business development) to deliver solutions while maintaining comprehensive documentation for all integration processes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining software integrations, preferably within the digital banking or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of web services, data formats such as JSON/XML, database technologies including SQL/NoSQL, and data mapping for financial systems.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including the Foreign Exchange (FE) Manual and AML/CFT/CPF regulations issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.
- Assist in responding to regulatory queries and preparing ad hoc and periodic reports for submission to the State Bank of Pakistan.
